Community Agrobiodiversity Centre, Wayanad

Established in 1997 in Kerala, the Community Agrobiodiversity Centre promotes community-driven biodiversity management. By building coalitions of government agencies, NGOs, and local communities, the Centre conserves the genetic wealth of Wayanad’s rich ecosystems. Its work strengthens food security, enhances biodiversity, and empowers indigenous knowledge holders.
