Mandia (Ragi) Mandi Inaugurated

On February 8, Bamadei Producer Company Limited (BPCL) in Kundra block began a mandi dedicated to ragi procurement, ensuring that farmers receive the Minimum Support Price (MSP). The event was inaugurated with the active participation of various dignitaries including Block Chairman, Block Development Officer, Assistant Agriculture Officer, Sarapancha and directors from BPCL farmer producer company in Kundra block. It was facilitated by the Biju Patnaik Tribal Agro-biodiversity Centre in collaboration with Department of Agriculture and Farmers’ Empowerment, Government of Odisha, under the Odisha Millet Mission project that aims to boost farmers’ income and revitalise millet cultivation.
