MSSRF hosts cooking competition on non-paddy crops

On December 8, in Bagderi village, Kundra block, MSSRF organised a cooking competition centred on non-paddy crops as part of the Crop Diversity Programme in the Mega Lift Irrigation Project. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from women farmers belonging to seven Self Help Groups (SHGs) showcasing culinary dishes. Sri Krishna SHG from Kudumapadar village, Patitapabana SHG from Bagderi, and Maa Bhairabi SHG from Mundaput bagged first, second and third prizes respectively. There were 110 participants in total.
