Preeti is a journalist, seasoned communications strategist and fundraising professional with over 18 years of experience in journalism, philanthropy, and advocacy in the U.S. and India.  As a journalist with the Hindu and the New Indian Express in India, and as a radio producer with an independent community radio station in the US (Pacifica radio), Preeti has extensively covered stories on climate change/justice, centring the voices and perspectives of the most marginalised communities. She has also worked in global philanthropy, by consulting for organisations like Thousand Currents, Urgent Action Fund and Global Fund for Women.
