Encouraging production diversity with vegetable seeds

To promote agricultural diversity and bolster income opportunities, a targeted effort was made to support 289 farmers across Kosagumuda and Boipariguda blocks. These farmers received vital assistance in the form of vegetable seeds, comprising a range of varieties including radish, brinjal, tomato, beans, broad bean, amaranthus, spinach, and coriander. By cultivating these varied vegetables, farmers can harness the efficient utilisation of pond water, thereby enhancing their income prospects. A programme was organised on November 25.
