Nodal Officer of NGDD Project visit MSSRF field sites

The nodal officer for Improving Dietary Diversity of rural and tribal people through promotion of Nutrition Gardens in Koraput district of Odisha (NGDD) project – Shri Sudam Chandra Biswal, Deputy Director of Horticulture, Koraput, visited the project villages in Boipariguda block as part of monitoring and evaluation of the project. He visited household nutrition gardens in Baunsiaguda village (Baligaon GP), Minarbali and Colonyguda villages (Doraguda GP). The gardens were flourishing with a diverse array of vegetables and fruit-bearing plants grown organically for household consumption. He also interacted with Women Self-Help Group members involved in mushroom cultivation as part of income generation activities, also beneficiaries of the nutrition garden to understand the impact of the project on dietary diversity and nutrition.
