Interventions to reduce the effect of heat stress on health in South India

Brief description: The intervention will be developed in three strategic areas including AI driven heat warning systems, health system preparedness and community adaptive strategies. The project will also explore novel technologies and architectural interventions to improve the ecosystem. The key activities include comprehensive investigation at individual and household levels to determine the impact of climatic variables on physical and mental health, surveillance at health facilities for morbidity and mortality related climatic hazards, community engagement and pilot testing.
