The project funded by the Fairtrade UK and NAPP India estimates GHG emissions from organically and conventionally cultivated cotton from four different agro-climatic locations of India under Fairtrade cotton cultivation. The project also provides an understanding of existing climate change challenges, and suggests some effective adaptive mechanisms for them along with studying the impact on the life cycle of cotton.
