- To identify millet farmer facilitators (MFFs) and study their characteristics in view to perform effective extension services in hilly and tribal areas
- To empower MFFs through group approach, on-farm trainings and mobile-based information and communication technologies (ICTs) for enhancing income of millet farmers
- To strengthen decision making of millet farmers and introduce suitable millets-based farming systems comprising, millet intercropping, livestock and bee keeping for livelihood security of millet farmers
- To assess effectiveness of MFFs, ways, avenues for extension services and the MFFs’ characteristics desired by millets farmers in hilly and tribal areas
