This training program aims to empower tribal youth in Wayanad by equipping them with practical skills and ecological knowledge to address environmental and community vulnerabilities. The course blends traditional ecological knowledge with scientific approaches, focusing on biodiversity conservation, ecological restoration, nursery management, RET species conservation, sustainable agriculture, and eco-tourism. A key emphasis is placed on fostering eco-entrepreneurship and alternative income generation, thereby enhancing ecological and community resilience.
